Sign-ups are finally opened! ✧⁠◝⁠(⁠⁰⁠▿⁠⁰⁠)⁠◜⁠✧

Have y'all decided what to request or offer for our server's first exchange event? (⁠◠⁠‿⁠◕⁠)

If yes, then time to head down to the exchange page to sign up! Here's a little post with a little more details on how to do exchange sign-ups just in case you're a little lost on how to do this!

1. As explained in the previous post, head down to the Sign-up Form in the AO3 exchange page! (⁠☞ﾟ⁠ヮﾟ⁠)⁠☞

2. Start inputting your request in the AO3 sign-up form page!

For every request/offer, you'll see the following categories for your input:-

- Fandom

- Character (Medium)

- Relationship

- Additional Tags

- Ratings

- Letter URL

- Description

Let's go a little more details on each category shall we?

As examples, I'll use my requests!

You can also look at other's requests as examples as well over here!

Fandom

There is only 1 Fandom - Gyakuten Saiban | Ace Attorney, select that as per below. 

Despite only having one option, you'll still have to click this if not AO3 will not be able to match your request to the available offers and vice versa, so it's important you don't skip this even though you only have one choice!

Character (Medium)

No, this is not literally to choose a character from the fandom, this character category is for you to choose the medium of your requested gift, or the medium of work you would like to offer, which could be a Fanfic or Fanart or both.

Take note that in my example below, as I have requested a case fic for my Detective Phoenix Wright request, hence I'll only select the option 'Fanfic - Medium'.

 

As for my example below, as it is a rather broad example, any medium of the creation is welcome, hence I choose both options of 'Fanfic - Medium' and 'Fanart - Medium'.

Relationship

Make no mistake, this is a MitsuNaru exchange, so yes, MitsuNaru is definitely a compulsory pairing/relationship for all gifts/works. However, this option is available for you to input any other side relationships you would like to see, and it's entirely for informational purposes. No matching will be done based on your side pairings; you can even input the option as MitsuNaru for this category too, and most of this side pairing should be optional for your creator even if you have included the relationship tag in your requests because like I said, this is a MitsuNaru Day exchange after all.

For example, one of my requests involves a bonus bonding time for Trucy Wright and Kay Faraday, so I have selected the side platonic relationship of 'Trucy Wright & Kay Faraday'.

Additional Tags

This is where you finally choose the prompts/ideas you would like to see in your gifts, and these tags can only be chosen from the tags nominated in the MitsuNaru Day Exchange Tag Set! If you need to take a look at all the tags in the tag set again, feel free to go over here to check them out! There are really some awesome and great ideas by you wonderful people here!

Once you decided on the additional tags from the tag set in the Sign-up Form, type them out as per below where you'll see suggested tags appearing below your words once you start typing in!

Reminder that tags not in the tag set are not applicable to be input in the additional tags category. 

On the other hand, if you do not know what you want because you want ALL, and you're willing to receive ANYTHING from the tags in the tag set, feel free to choose the option 'Any Additional Tags' instead! One broad example of mine as below! (⁠つ⁠✧⁠ω⁠✧⁠)⁠つ

Ratings

Have you ever thought that all you want to see are just pure fluff between our gay lawyers? Or just them going out on an innocent first date? You don't really want them to see them having sex yet? No worries, if you would not want to have any explicit scenes for any of your requests, feel free to indicate here the rating you would like to receive! You can choose the rating of either T where there will be no adult scenes, or the E rating where you wanna see sexy or maybe gorish scenes.

Reminder that just choosing the rating would be assumed that you're okay with any rating up to your choice. For example, choosing the E rating would be firstly assumed that you're okay with your work from G to E, where your creator can also write something of T rating. If you wish to see explicit scenes, do put the details in the Description box so that your creator would be more clearer with your request.

Letter URL

This letter URL is only used when you decided that you do not want to put the detailed description of your requests in AO3, especially when the description box has a character limit of 5000. One example of a letter you can use to write your long details of your requests are in a dreamwidth post, where there are no character limits to write your detailed description of your requests.

This input can be blanked out. 

Description

Here is where you list down any detailed descriptions of what you want to see in your gifts, and to also list down any Do Not Wants (DNWs) in your gifts/creations. A reminder when you're creating your works as gifts - please respect and follow your requester's DNWs!

3. Input your offers!

The categories to input your offers are exactly the same, and most of the above mentioned pointers are applicable to your offers as well. 

• Fandom - only one option of 'Gyakuten Saiban | Ace Attorney'

• Character (Medium) - select the choice of medium you're willing to create - fanfic or fanart

• Relationship - indicate if you're willing to write/draw to include any side platonic and romantic relationships as well

• Additional Tags - indicate the tags that you're wanting and/or willing to create your works based on, the 'Any Additional Tags' option is also available if you're interested in creating works based on any tags from the tag set 

• Ratings - indicate the rating you're willing to work with (T option if you do not wish to do any explicit work)

• Letter URL - in case the limited number of characters in the description is insufficient for you to describe your offers, or you can leave it blank

• Description - list down any specific details you want and any DNWs you do not wish to create

4. Once you're done with your requests/offers, proceed to 'Submit' and you're done! \⁠(⁠๑⁠╹⁠◡⁠╹⁠๑⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠♬

By the way! Don't worry if you ever want to change any details in your sign up, you can easily get them change by going back to your Sign-up details and edit! You can even choose to edit either your whole sign-up, or change/delete specific prompt/request/offer.
